A UNIQUE PLACE IN OUR COMMUNITY

If you’ve ever come along to a Peaslake School event you will probably have noticed the strong sense of community and friendship displayed by all those involved. We are brought together by our appreciation for this incredible school that gives our children such a wonderfully rich start to their young lives. Working together, we raise money to top up the government funding the school receives and enable it to continue to provide such a varied and personalised education to all our children. In doing so we form bonds as parents that long outlive our children's time here and make friends for life. Over the years, the Peaslake Schools Trust and the wider Peaslake community have raised over £2 million to help to secure the future of the school. Fundraising is carried out on behalf of Peaslake Schools Trust, a registered charity whose purpose it is to act as a vehicle to support both Peaslake Free School and Peaslake Nursery.

OUR FUNDRAISING CALENDAR

Every year our school community organises an exciting programme of events.  Here is a taste of some of our annual favourites. For more information about latest events visit our Events page.

MOUNTAIN BIKE ORIENTEERING

Spring and autumn

This event usually takes place in the spring and autumn each year. Participants find as many controls hidden away in the hills as possible in the available time using OS maps. Choose from a 3 hour category for competitive solos, pairs or teams, the 2 hour for families, or our Junior category provides an introduction to the sport for ages 5 - 9. A BBQ and home made cakes help keep energy levels up. Watch this space for autumn dates or visit peaslakemtbo.com to learn more.
