Concert by Candlelight

Once again, St Mark’s Church, Peaslake will be sumptuously festooned with holly and ivy, and beautifully candlelit, for an evening of classical music with a festive finale.

This year we are excited to welcome for the first time to play at St Mark's Church, classical musicians ‘Siren Duo.'  Claire Wickes, one  of Britain’s leading flautists, and Principal Flute of the English  National Opera Orchestra, will play alongside Welsh harpist Tomos Xerri  who has performed in concert halls worldwide as a soloist, chamber  musician, and orchestral performer.  Both are international award  winning musicians.  The  musical programme ‘Storytelling through Music’ will take the audience  on a classical journey.  Siren  Duo have a focus on exploring beyond the conventional flute & harp  repertoire, and will include their own personal commissioned  collaboration.

Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30 start. Tickets include Prosecco and canapes. 

This is a fundraising event for Peaslake Free School and Nursery.
