A RICH AND VARIED EDUCATION

Here at Peaslake School, children benefit from weekly music and dance classes, outdoor adventure in our Forest school and a wide variety of sports. We are privileged to work with a number of specialist teachers to offer all our children incredibly rich and varied co-curricular experiences that are unprecedented in a school of our size and take full advantage of our countryside environment.

FOREST SCHOOL

There is something quite idyllic about learning in the woods.

Our Forest School is set in a wonderful location just a five minute walk from the School. We go every week, whatever the weather, and everybody enjoys being outside in the fresh air.

MUSIC AND DANCE

Music is an important part of our curriculum at Peaslake School.

Weekly music classes are run by Emma Heaton, a very gifted specialist children’s music teacher. Children learn about music through fun singing games, playing instruments and other fun musical activities.

In addition, much-loved weekly dance and movement classes with Mrs Jackson and Miss Lock, help the children to develop their musicality, coordination and confidence further.

SPORTS

A varied sporting programme help to develop skills and encourage children to be active.

Sport is an important part of our school week here at Peaslake School. Children benefit from the opportunity to play games and develop their cricket, football, hockey and tennis skills through weekly PE lessons as well as lunch and after school clubs.

Every Tuesday the whole school also goes swimming at Cranleigh pool where all children benefit from professional swimming teaching.
