British Wildlife inspired Poetry

The children had a visit from Wild About Britain and enjoyed learning about some rare and endangered species that live in Britain. They enjoyed the opportunity to meet the animals close up including a hedgehog, toad, smooth snake and Tawny Owl.

In Pine class the children used their experience as inspiration to collectively write a poem on National Poetry Day.

In Hazel class the children were inspired by the visit to learn about food chains and found out more about the hedgehog and the smooth snake.
