What a busy and exciting start we have had to the new school year!
Our new Reception class have settled in beautifully, thanks to the excellent transition from our attached nursery. The children have already been making wonderful memories – from picking apples in the school garden to working together to make a delicious apple crumble.
They also enjoyed a special trip back to the nursery to explore the fantastic new outdoor area that was built over the summer holidays.

Elsewhere in the school, Oak Class have been getting creative and curious by exploring spirals in lots of different ways. From swirling patterns in the mud at Forest School to designs with leaves, paint, and chalk, they have discovered that spirals can be found everywhere!
Meanwhile, across the school, everyone has been busy preparing for our Harvest celebration. The children have been learning songs, reflecting on the importance of food, and thinking carefully about where it comes from. We look forward to sharing this special celebration with our school community.
It has been a joyful start to the term, full of learning, creativity, and community spirit – and we are looking forward to everything the rest of the autumn term will bring.
